His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, received a judicial delegation from the sister State of Kuwait as part of the first phase of the bilateral practical exchange visits program between the Supreme and Cassation Courts of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The visit took place during the delegation’s official visit to the Supreme Council of the Judiciary from 7 to 11 December 2025, with the distinguished presence of a number of esteemed judges, reflecting the depth of judicial cooperation and the exchange of expertise between both sides.
During the visit, the delegation received an extensive briefing on the Court’s jurisdiction and operational mechanisms, including its digital systems and the advanced procedures adopted to adjudicate commercial disputes in accordance with best judicial practices.
The visit also included an exploratory tour of the Court’s departments to learn about workflow processes and the technologies used in delivering judicial services.
Members of the Kuwaiti delegation expressed their appreciation for the technological and administrative advancements they observed at the Investment and Trade Court, praising the Court’s progressive methodology in expediting litigation procedures and enhancing the quality of judicial performance.
For his part, His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al Obaidli emphasized the Court’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with judicial authorities in the State of Kuwait, contributing to enhanced exchange of expertise and the development of the judicial system across GCC countries.
