As part of its ongoing training initiatives, the Investment and Trade Court launched a three-day training program dedicated to law firms. The program aims to familiarize lawyers with the Court’s functions and commercial and investment litigation procedures, in addition to providing hands-on training on the “Taqadi” electronic system and showcasing the latest technical updates that contribute to facilitating judicial services and enhancing the quality of judicial performance.

The program also includes a series of practical sessions and visual presentations delivered by Court staff, enabling participants to gain practical insight into daily courtroom procedures, while strengthening their understanding of digital systems and procedural rules governing case progression.

This training comes as part of the Court’s efforts to enhance cooperation with law firms and transfer practical knowledge to legal practitioners, contributing to the development of their performance and strengthening their professional competence. It also supports the Supreme Judicial Council’s vision of building an advanced judicial system founded on quality and professionalism.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the Court’s efforts in organizing this distinguished program, emphasizing that such initiatives contribute to improving legal practices and reflect the Court’s leadership in the digital transformation of judicial services.

In this context, heads of participating law firms shared their views on the program. Lawyer Sultan Al-Abdullah, Chairman of Sultan Al-Abdullah Law Firm, praised the Court’s efforts in organizing the training and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate. He emphasized the importance of considering the submitted suggestions for inclusion in development plans due to their direct impact on supporting the digital justice ecosystem and improving the quality of services offered through the Taqadi platform.

Lawyer Ibrahim Al-Mohannadi, Chairman of Doha Law Firm, also praised the strong cooperation between law firms and the Investment and Trade Court, noting that the training was rich and beneficial. He highlighted that the program clarified many practical aspects of the Taqadi system and enhanced the understanding of legal offices regarding the digital procedures in place. He further commended the Court’s ongoing efforts to develop the system and simplify procedures, expressing his hope for continued collaboration to benefit all parties involved.
