As part of its continuous efforts to advance the justice system and strengthen digital transformation within the litigation environment, the Investment and Trade Court held two remote hearings using modern technological tools. The sessions were chaired by His Excellency Judge Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Mansouri and His Excellency Judge Nasser bin Mohammed Al Hajri.
These virtual hearings reaffirm the Court’s commitment to applying the latest digital practices aligned with the vision of the Supreme Judicial Council to simplify litigation procedures and provide an advanced and secure judicial environment that enables litigants to attend sessions remotely without the need to be physically present at the courthouse.
During the first session, chaired by His Excellency Judge Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al Mansouri, an expert delivered a visual presentation reviewing the technical report related to the case. This contributed to enhancing the efficiency and speed of judicial proceedings using modern technological tools. His Excellency emphasized that the use of technology in session management represents a vital step toward developing judicial work and achieving swift justice, noting the Court’s dedication to leveraging technology to streamline procedures, expedite case resolution, and strengthen trust in the judicial system.
The second session, chaired by His Excellency Judge Nasser bin Mohammed Al Hajri, reviewed several commercial disputes through the Court’s approved electronic platform. During his remarks, His Excellency stated:
“The adoption of modern technologies in session management reflects the ongoing development of judicial work, contributing to more efficient litigation procedures and providing a fast and secure judicial service. At the Investment and Trade Court, we remain committed to developing an integrated digital environment that aligns with the State’s vision for a modern and effective judicial system.”
