On the occasion of the upcoming enforcement of the Investment and Trade Court Law in the Sultanate of Oman, a judicial delegation from the Muscat Court – the Tripartite Commercial Circuit, headed by His Honor Judge Dr. Ali bin Hamad bin Salim Al-Hashmi, paid a courtesy visit to the Investment and Trade Court.

The accompanying delegation included His Honor Judge Harib bin Jumaa bin Harib Al-Sarami and His Honor Judge Abdulmalik bin Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Balushi.

The delegation was received by His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, along with a number of judges of the court, who welcomed this cordial visit. His Excellency affirmed that the coming stage will witness a qualitative leap in judicial work that serves the investment climate and enhances confidence in the national economy.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed in detail on the jurisdiction and mechanisms of the Investment and Trade Court, and also took an introductory tour of its facilities and various departments. His Honor Judge Dr. Ali Al-Hashmi expressed his appreciation for the level of preparedness and advanced organization he observed, commending the efforts of those in charge of the court in developing the judicial work environment.

This friendly visit comes within the framework of strengthening institutional communication channels and exchanging judicial expertise, reflecting the judiciary’s keenness to develop the justice system and to consolidate an effective and investment-friendly judicial environment.
