H.E. Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, received H.E. Dr. Mazhar Abdulrahman Al-Wais, Minister of Justice of the Syrian Arab Republic, and his accompanying delegation at the Court’s headquarters in Doha.

The visit was not limited to learning about the Court’s mechanisms and modern procedures, but also provided an opportunity to explore the advanced facilities that contribute to expediting the resolution of commercial cases and strengthening the confidence of litigants and investors.

During the meeting, Judge Khalid Al-Obaidli affirmed that the Court is committed to employing technology and applying best international practices, thereby enhancing its position both locally and internationally.

For his part, the Syrian Minister of Justice expressed his appreciation for the modern capabilities he witnessed, praising the significant progress achieved by the judicial system in the State of Qatar.
