His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, received a delegation from the Hong Kong Law Society headed by His Excellency Mr. Roden Tong, President of the Society.

The meeting addressed ways to enhance legal cooperation, as both sides discussed a range of topics related to the development of the legal system and the challenges facing commercial and investment judiciary.

The delegation toured the court premises, where they were briefed on its modern facilities and procedures, and listened to a detailed presentation on the roles and responsibilities of the Investment and Trade Court in promoting commercial justice.

The delegation expressed admiration for the court’s infrastructure and its advanced electronic system, affirming Qatar’s commitment to strengthening its legal framework to support a robust investment and commercial environment.
