As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance legal awareness and develop specialized knowledge in the field of commercial transactions, the Investment and Trade Court organized on Tuesday, 18-03-2025, a specialized seminar titled "Provisions of Cheques and Enforcement Instruments under the Enforcement Law."

The seminar witnessed high-level attendance, with the participation of His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidly, President of the Investment and Trade Court, alongside a distinguished group of the Court’s judges and officials, in addition to several individuals interested in legal and commercial affairs.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the recent legal amendments concerning cheques and enforcement instruments, and to clarify their impact on various commercial transactions in light of the new Enforcement Law.

The seminar addressed a number of important themes, including:
New Legal Amendments: A comprehensive review of the amendments to the Enforcement Law and their impact on the provisions governing cheques and enforcement instruments.
Cheques as Enforcement Instruments: The seminar discussed the conditions and procedures required for considering a cheque as an enforcement instrument, and the rights and obligations of the parties involved.
