A delegation from the Supreme Judiciary Council, led by His Excellency Judge Khalid Ali Al Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, participated in the First Gulf Law and Arbitration Week, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 26 to 30, 2025, with the attendance of approximately 2,000 participants from over 20 countries.
The delegation included His Excellency Judge Abdulaziz Ali Issa Al Khalifi, Senior Judge at the Court of Appeal, His Excellency Judge Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Sulaiti, First Deputy President of the First Instance Court, along with several officials from the Investment and Trade Court.
This event, organized by the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, serves as an important platform for exchanging expertise in the fields of law and arbitration. It aims to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in the region, supporting efforts toward sustainable economic development.
The First Gulf Law and Arbitration Week offered a comprehensive program covering diverse topics, including energy, transportation, housing, real estate development, and major engineering projects.
This event represents a significant step toward improving the business and investment environment in the region, fostering sustainable economic growth, and enhancing the status of the GCC countries as a legal hub.
