A judicial delegation from the People's Republic of China visited the Supreme Judiciary Council to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and develop judicial work mechanisms between the two sides.

His Excellency Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al-Hassan Al-Mohannadi, President of the Supreme Judiciary Council and President of the Court of Cassation, met with the judicial delegation headed by Her Excellency Ms. Zhao Hong, President of the Shanghai Financial Court, where they reviewed the enhancement of judicial cooperation between the two courts.

The Chinese delegation also met with His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, and during the meeting, they discussed arbitration mechanisms and dispute resolution, as well as future cooperation opportunities, including organizing joint workshops and enhancing communication between the two sides.

Following the meeting, Her Excellency Ms. Zhao Hong and the accompanying delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the tasks and competencies of the Investment and Trade Court, the innovative work mechanisms and procedures, and the technological developments it adopts to enhance justice and expedite the resolution of commercial disputes.

The Chinese delegation also toured the court's premises, where they were briefed on the court's technical facilities, in addition to the judicial service delivery halls.
