His Excellency Judge Khaled bin Ali Al-Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, met with Mr. Roden Tong, President of the Chinese Law Society, during his official visit to Hong Kong.

The meeting was attended by Judge Issa bin Ahmed Al-Nasr, Vice President of the Investment and Trade Court, judges from the Supreme Judiciary Council who were part of the Qatari delegation, as well as several officials from the Chinese Law Society.

The discussions focused on the legal systems of both Qatar and Hong Kong, along with the latest developments in arbitration and mediation. The meeting also touched on modern solutions for online dispute resolution and court technologies.

This meeting is part of efforts to strengthen legal and commercial relations between Qatar and the People's Republic of China, and to exchange expertise in the fields of law, arbitration, and mediation.
