His Excellency Judge Khalid Ali Al Obeidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, met on Sunday with His Excellency Mr. Pietro Curzio, President of the Supreme Court of the Italian Republic, and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country. The meeting was attended by a number of judges and officials of the Investment and Trade Court. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of issues of common interest and ways to enhance judicial cooperation between the two countries. The delegation listened to an introductory presentation on the Investment and Trade Court, its competencies and what it offers to keep pace with the rapid growth witnessed by the business sector, create an attractive environment for investors, and develop and upgrade the capabilities of national human resources. The Italian delegation toured the Court to learn about the most prominent practices followed and the latest electronic means, where they were briefed on the procedures for receiving and following up cases, and the facilities and advanced services it provides to the public.
