His Excellency Judge Khalid Ali Al Obeidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, met with a delegation from the Qatari Bar Association headed by Mr. Mubarak bin Abdullah Al-Sulaiti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, in the presence of a number of court officials.

The meeting discussed the mechanism of work in the Investment and Trade Court and introduced its various departments, including case management and its objectives, as it is the first model to be applied in courts in the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, His Excellency Judge Khalid Ali Al Obeidli stressed the importance of case management and the need for the parties and lawyers to respond to the digital transformation in this regard, pointing to the imminent launch of a website specialized in the Investment and Trade Court to view the court’s regulations, systems, laws, and legislation.

His Excellency the President of the Court, along with the members of the Qatari Bar Association, toured the court building to view the sections and departments related to auditors and lawyers.
