His Excellency Judge Khalid Ali Al Obeidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, praised the speech of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the country, at the opening of the fifty-first annual session of the Shura Council. He expressed his deep appreciation and sincere praise for the visions and meanings contained in the speech, which aim to develop progress in various fields, secure future generations' future, and achieve prosperity for the homeland amid the challenges afflicting the world around us.

In a statement on this occasion, His Excellency stressed the importance of the generous directives included in His Highness's speech, considering that it draws a roadmap for the plans and visions of the State of Qatar towards various internal and external issues.

Al Obeidli also noted what His Highness, the Emir of the country, referred to in his speech regarding the interest in the package of legislation issued by the State of Qatar. Among them, the Investment and Trade Court has commenced its work, and the court is an addition that would contribute to enhancing the investment climate in the country.

His Excellency added that a lot is expected from this court, which will contribute to the achievement of prompt justice and the completion of the judicial system.

He also stressed the pursuit and effort to achieve the goal of establishing this court and to achieve the hoped-for difference in its privacy, procedures, and specialized judges to achieve prompt justice and adjudicate cases with accuracy, quality, and speed.

His Excellency the President of the Investment and Commerce Court concluded his statement by saying, "I pray to God to help us all in serving our beloved country and in achieving more aspirations of the Qatari people for progress and prosperity. I ask the Almighty God to bless our beloved country with the permanence of security and safety under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country."
