The Investment and Trade Court received Mr. Ignacio de Castro Yamas, Head of the Intellectual Property Disputes and External Relations Division at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – Geneva. He was received by His Excellency Judge Khalid bin Ali Al Obaidli, President of the Investment and Trade Court, as part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of intellectual property and related dispute resolution.

During the visit, both sides reviewed existing areas of cooperation in light of the previously signed cooperation agreement and discussed ways to strengthen and expand it. The discussions focused on activating joint areas of work, particularly in the settlement of intellectual property and technology-related disputes, contributing to enhanced efficiency in dispute resolution and the consolidation of international best practices in this field.
