o Agency commission for carriage is a contract whereby the agent contracts in his own name at the expense of or on behalf of the client with a carrier to carry something or someone to a specific destination, performing the activities associated with this carriage if necessary in exchange for commission received from the client.

o If the commission agent takes over responsibility for the carriage with his means, all provisions of the contract of carriage shall be applied to the commission agent unless otherwise agreed.
